After graduation in 2017?
Being faithful, I didn't pursue my desire to go to New York and become a public relations professional. I drove a bus for Houston, Texas, no matter how much less than I was earning years ago than now. It was still more then than now, but still more than entry-level salaries from what I had been studying for in school. And I ask my God, was it in vain?
Was it only a hope just to pass through school with a generous 2.5 GPA? To some, it is a C, nonetheless, not for a person who did get to graduate high school, minus the diploma. I got the chance to walk with my classmates in a cap and gown, but honestly, I did not graduate. I was frustrated and went to get my GED a year later, in 1994.
I only ended up at the Art Institute of Houston for cooking and ended up on the most wanted floor by accident on my way to class to become a chef. What might that floor have been? Music Business and video. Did you know editing video was similar to editing music? I have had such a strong love for music. Now, I just love to write. Music was my first true love in media communications. It opened doors for me, and I may have not have attempted to walk through the doors if music wasn't a big part of my life then in 2015.
Yet things changed
Unknowingly things were destined to change. Later, as the years changed, my taste changed. My love for knowledge had increased, significantly. I honestly believe I don't need to study copywriting as much as I have been doing lately. I think that I had made a "B," in my first attempt to pass college grammar. And I honestly didn't pay attention well enough to pass this class when I was in high school. It was challenging to learn most subjects then, and I wasn't the brightest in the class of academics class.
I was more of a good listener and a doodler, than paying greater attention and studying more. I didn't become a better student until, Full Sail University , online. I was so fed up with working the jobs I was working, not ever realizing that when God says that he takes care of you, it is true. You, like me, wouldn't know it until you honestly looked at how you were well cared for, in this society.
Yes, yes, we want more, and if we don't have more, we perceive that we are not in a good position. Indeed, when the Holy Bible states by the leadership of the Holy Spirit that the Lord takes care of our actual needs, it is true. The only problem now is to minimize the wants. I would say eliminate, all wants, but to be realistic, reducing our wants would be significantly much more than completely removing them all. We all grew up here in the USA, from infants to adults, in this environment. I have habits that I care not to let go of.
I ended up letting go of them, though. After you become more aware of yourself and what no longer serves you, like a pair of shoes, and some other clothing, you put on the new clothing and feel the new you, like new wine in new wineskins, biblically speaking. I never thought I would give up my love for music, but I did.
The funny thing is that I had always thought that music would be my pathway to successful living. That I would only be needed in the studio producing sounds, only. I had to rethink that; along with making or creating sounds came the joy of learning to mix, then I mastered mixing, along with recording proper sound levels. Not too soft, or too loud. Then, purchasing mastering software, mastering alone was an art, that would take years to master. It made good business to spend less than $1,000 per album.
The top place who mastered each song charged $200, per song. The price you pay for a possible maxi-single would be half the price for this software, which, once you master it, would be used on multiple occasions. Spending frugally was a practice for all, not just project studios. If you could reduce cost, then it was a sure deal.
In all, it was a good estimate of how well some songs came out. I was mixing in a high-end consumer product that could record at 24-bit, 96 kHz. It was accompanied by a soundcard via PCI, which could record and mix at 24 bits, 96 kHz. So, the mix and the mastering were done at 24 bits, 96 kHz.
which produced crystal clear sounds, and, with a professional mastering software, yielded a fine-tuned master. Most songs gave a fantastic appeal to the ears of those who had an interest in my genre of music. That was at the height of my production days. And I had thought that our music would be in regular r retail stores. My distributor, was an online distributor, who made it possible for me to distribute all over the globe.
The only thing is that I pulled the CD off the digital shelves, before I could see major progress. I sold 6 CDs total, some overseas and some in the USA. My peers told me it wouldn't happen, and it did. Whatever you think you can do, you can do. No person knows anything more or necessarily less, give or take, no more definitely than the Most High God, Jehovah.
Not even Jesus Christ knows when he will be returning back to this world physically. The Lord Jesus Christ, says that only the Father God, Jehovah, knows when he will genuinely be returning. The Holy Bible does tell us that the days will be like Noah's day, before he returns. We are getting close to these times. If you know the Holy Bible, you know that before Noah's flood, that Giants were roaming the earth—men of Renowned at heights well above 15 to 50 feet tall.
Now, you could doubtfully say it didn't occur, but on the side of a mountain in Turkey, there are the remains of a ship with similar measurements, just like Noah's Ark, there. Even if not the ark, you would still have to wonder how such a vast ship made it up there, that high up on that mountainside. And why was it covered up, underneath that much of the earth's material? Either way, it would have had to have been more than an isolated event to have floated that ship up that high on the side of that mountain in Turkey.
Which is close to where Noah was to have built that ark. Sarkhen, you also explain the remains of the giant's skeleton. It is interesting to know these things. Although I believe that our weapons are much more advanced than those particular days, back in time, there were civilizations with much more advanced tech than ours, but that's another talk for another blog.
No Person knows what you are capable of doing.
Yes, not even you, if you choose not to try, to step out and do something that may work. I have learned that I could be successful, even after those in my peer group have said that I wouldn't succeed in whatever I stepped out to do. Just because we are close to each other and are on the same boat, but none of us are actually navigating or operating the steering wheel, they can predict whether I will pass or fail.
That is up to me, or up to you. If things change, well, why not? Versatility is a very great trait to have these days. Knowing how to play every position on the team, is similar to changing it up. I have been a communication person since I can remember. Having the ability, to move about in the communication field is a very good key to success. It means you can utilize more than one way to communicate.
If you can tell a story in multiple ways, you have an awesome gift, and should take out the time to invest. One way or another, you will have success. I currently don't earn a living in communications, but spiritually, I think I do—only that it is blended in with my faith. Hebrews 11:6 says that there is no pleasing God without Faith and that we must believe that he can do whatever it is that the person asks of him before they even ask him.
Faith is also considered a currency, which requires spiritual action to gain. Hebrews tells us that faith is an unseen substance that is hoped for, but you can only use it with =one particular Banker, Financier, or accountant. If you believe in Jesus Christ, then you may know this or not. Because some of us are mature, and some are only babes in the faith. Having very little faith is still having faith. If you have a little, it is still much more than than not having any faith at all.
This is a spiritual currency, which must be used by a spiritual being who understands its worth. Otherwise, you will be giving gold to a beast who has no understanding, and you may not gain any profit from your investment.
I myself personally am always seeking my ROI, and return on investment, in all matters of investment that I make. I didn't know these things until the Lord taught me. Sure, we could say he's speaking of money, but no. I am speaking of spiritual investments. That sometimes manifests in the material world, but still does not become money. That the Lord opens the doors that are usually closed to me, well, money wouldn't have opened it; faith, on the other hand, would, and much, much, much more.
So let's just say some family person told me that I would not succeed at going to school at Full Sail University , because some person did say, but also said that I knew that I would pass, after finding out that I did pass. Well, I am glad that I didn't believe them. I asked the Lord if I could attend school, and the Lord told me to have faith. Faith makes all things possible, and believe me when I say it is not easy. Yet well worth the opportunity!
